Pop the champagne! I'm thrilled to announce that St. Martin's Press will be publishing THE HOUSE ON HIDEAWAY HILL, the first book in my Jewell Cove series. The series will continue with two more books - TREASURE ON LILAC LANE and FORTUNE AT FIDDLER'S ROCK... I'm simply over the moon and excited and still kind of pinching myself. Big News!
I'm making a move! Beginning with books in 2014, you'll find me as part of the American Romance line! It's going to be a great home for my cowboy stories and I'm thrilled to be working the the American team.
The transition is going to be a bit of a neat event - look for a new Cadence Creek duet beginning with a holiday story late this year. The heroine is Taylor Shepard, the sister of the hero in my current release, Little Cowgirl on his Doorstep. The second book, featuring their brother, Jack, will be my first book with American. Fun, right?
I'll keep you posted with release dates and more info on my home page and on my Bookshelf. The first book has just been accepted, and I'm in the middle of writing the second as we speak!

On February 14th I'm part of launching a new website, The Chocolate Box.
There are ten authors who make up the box. We're writers of romantic fiction and we're friends. We're going to bring you news of our latest releases, post excerpts, hold contests and generally get up to shenanigans. Just like we do in real life. As Forrest Gump's mama would say, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Variety is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
